Property offences

Burglary: On June 24, an unknown offender has entered the garage of a residence on Carpenter Way, Sandstone Point. No property was taken.

On June 24, an unknown offender has entered a residence at Shearwater Crescent, Banksia Beach and has stolen  keys from the residence.

Police continue to investigate these offences.

Stealing: On June 22, an unknown offender has stolen a wallet from Bribie Island Road, Ningi. Police are continuing to investigate this matter.

Vehicles: During the last seven days, four vehicles have been unlawfully entered and had items stolen from them.

These offences occurred in Ningi, Bongaree and Banksia Beach. Police urge all owners of vehicles to ensure that their vehicles are locked and secured when not in use and that valuables are not stored in the vehicles.

On June 29, an unknown person has allegedly stolen a camper trailer from a residence at White Patch Esplanade, White Patch.

Wilful damage: On June 28 and 29, unknown offenders have damaged a fence at Coolgarra Avenue, Bongaree.

On June 28, an unknown offender has damaged a fence at Second Avenue, Bongaree.

On June 28, an unknown offender has damaged the tyres of a vehicle on Spinnaker Drive, Sandstone Point.

On June 30, an unknown offender has damaged a vehicle at Boronia Drive, Bellara.

Found property: On June 27, a bicycle was located on Welsby Parade, Bongaree. QP1901239631 refers.

If you are the owner of the above bicycles, please contact police and quote the corresponding police reference.

Community safety

Drug offences: On June 24, a 29-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman from Ningi were located by police in possession of drugs and utensils at Ningi.  They were issued with Notices to Appear and will appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on July 25.

Good Order Offences: On June 25, police were called to an address in Monavale Court, Sandstone Point in relation to a disturbance. A 35-year-old Sandstone Point woman was issued with a Notice to Appear for common assault and causing a public nuisance. She will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on July 25.

Police have responded to a total of 11 incidents of domestic violence this week.

Road Safety

Drink and drug driving: On June 29, a 59-year-old Cooyar man was allegedly located on Sylvan Beach Esplanade, Bellara driving under the influence of alcohol. He was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on July 25.

On June 29, a 36-year-old Bongaree woman was allegedly located driving a vehicle in Benabrow Avenue, Bellara under the influence of a drug. She was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on August 12.

Traffic Infringement Notices: A total of nine Traffic Infringement Notices were issued by Bribie Island police. A total of 97 Random Breath Tests were conducted.
